If pause the game (at the Menu/Exit screen) and then alt-tab out of the game - when I come back the screen looks like this - amost a 'cockpit' or 'sniper' view.
Escaping AGAIN will usually bring-up the menu - again - but at least once I had to Alt-F4 just to get out of it... |

Pressing alt lets you zoom in, it's a feature, mostly for railgun use. Can you zoom out by pressing alt again, or is it getting stuck? Edited by: WraithEnt |

I'm sure it will fix it (as will alt-tabbing again I guess) Alt probably shouldn't work when you're in the pause menu (and the game should really catch when it's being backgrounded and auto-pause anyway?) |

Was the game still running when you alt-tabbed? Did you die while alt-tabbed? Or just the zoom issue? Might just be good to add the pause function back into the game. We removed it at some point due to coop issues, but it can be in single player at least. |

I think this is a good idea for single player.. It would be nice to pause the game. I mean you never can tell when life issues happen or you just need to use the restroom and your in the middle of a galactic war! haha |

The pause mechanic will work properly in 1.03. Uploading it now, but might be 12 or 18 hours before it's done and ready. |
