Daedalus: Star Combat Windows game

Daedalus Currently has 3 modes planned. Freeplay, which is a play-till-you-die classically styled game mode. In this mode, fight procedurally generated waves of enemies, dodge asteroids, and buy things from Space Stations! The Second Game mode is still under development. If you decide to play it, it is about 5 versions behind the rest of the game and will not be updated until the first gamemode is completed. This game mode is the exact same as the first one, except two people can play on one computer. The third planned mode is a fully-voiced story mode in which you experience the adventures of Captain Jared Slock, a Star-pilot who fights evil (pretty creative, huh?). This Game mode is also playable, but as per the usual it is a few versions behind the freeplay mode and won't be nearly as fun until it is finished. Through the Story mode, players will unlock more ships for freeplay and also add more information to the database (also not finished or implemented). Currently there are technically four playable Ships (a total of 6, if you count the two that are accessible through cheat codes ;) ) Each having different statistics and special abilities. That's about it... so.... enjoy!
