Crimson Diaries is the first installment in a series of horror games from Aperture Studios. It is now a 3d game powered by the Aperture3d engine - which is being developed alongside this game.

I was so busy travelling that I barely got any time to work on the engine. However, the game is not dead. I did get the rendering engine ported to both PC and PSM so now the same code will run on both platforms, now I will start working on the assets and the AI and physics. Progress will be slow though, I have exams coming up and I have to apply to a few universities by the end of the month.
I will however, try to write a short update whenever possible just to let you know that Crimson Diaries isn't dead.

Just a really quick progress update, we're busy reworking the engine to make it more extensible (and hopefully better optimized), we'll post a full update when we're done, right now we're really busy with our personal lives as well so it might be a while.

The game looks very interesting but i have some questions.
1.What is the story to this game.
2. This engine you created is it created with PSM, C#, or something else?
3. How does the engine work?
4. If the engine is 3d then why is the game 2D?
5. Whens the next update?
6. Do you need help?

1. It's a secret ;) for now, just know that it's a horror game

3. The game engine follows a custom design pattern, similar to Axiom3d
4. I thought I changed everything to 3d, thing is, we recently made the decision to go with 3d because we were having trouble making all the 2d assets
