Library Files
Have you got the library files installed? Ff not download these:
Can't open them? Get WinRAR, google it ;].
Now, extract them and right click them. Hit the Compatibility tab and click "Run as Administrator." also check "Run in Compatibility Mode", click the dropdown box and finally select "Windows XP SP3".
Getting the DLL
Finally, you need the DirectX8 DLL.
You can find it here: Dll-files.com
Instructions are on the site on how to register it but for good measure:
First extract the file then move it to C:\windows\system32
Windows 7/Vista
Then if you're on Windows 7 or Vista hit the start button and type this into the search bar and hit enter.
"C:\Windows\System32"
Windows XP and earlier
All you need to do is do the same thing but instead of the search bar use 'Run'.
Still Having Problems?
Never fear, there may still be one thing. These:
You should probably run them in Compatibility Mode for XP SP3 (Just like the library files) and in Admin Mode too.
Hey im having installation issues i hope someone could resolve. Installed the game (the 0.5.0 nightly 8 you just released) had a few issues but installed the Dll-files thing and sorted that but now when i run it i get a runtime error 339 (Components 'mswinsck.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid). Now im an idiot when it comes to PCs so im not sure if i have done something terribly wrong but i was wondering if someone knows what it is i've done wrong or how to fix it. Thanks guys

Never mind im an idiot took me like three hours to figure out i needed to also DL that file and another hour to realise i was typing it wrong in CMD. Sigh. On the bright side though the game is really good! haha :)
