Its a bit of a scary time for Crawle in terms of development. Like I've said many times Pb is working on upgrading the graphics engine and that leaves me in a position where I can only do certain things since it'd be a bit pointless redoing it in the new engine.
Nevertheless, I've been doing a few optimisations and small things before I release this patch and go off and work with Pb on the 'new' engine (assuming he trusts me to not break it ;]).
Anyway all I've done today is:
As you can see the Merchant has a new skin and will turn into a zombie at night (and he manages to tear his own clothes in the process).
I've also done a tentative (I'm using that word too often these days) difficulty scaling system. Currently all the rates are multiplied by the difficulty number (1 being easy and 4 being unforgiving).
Oh and theres a new stone texture... but I haven't got the edges for it.
