Convoy Alpha 0.5 has been uploaded and the changelog has been posted!

We've just uploaded Alpha 0.5 to Desura!

In this update, we've added more abilities, dialogue, and improved gameplay feedback by adding a range indicator to units.

We're always looking for more feedback, so if you haven't got the alpha yet, send us a message and you'll get a key!


Anyway, the changelog of 0.5:

Added:

  • Mine Thrower MCV utility - Comes in 2 types, HE and EMP.
  • Mine Layer AI ability - Some enemies can now place mines behind them.
  • TAUNT (TAUNT Assigned Universal Next Target) passive - Forces enemy to shoot at the vehicle.
  • Range indicator around units - Select a unit and you will see its range!
  • Mine guard upgrade to all units - Adds resistance to mines.
  • Several new dialogues - Insult fighting is a thing now...
  • The first main objective -Still a work in progress, but the foundation of the system is there.

Changed:

  • The way enemy chooses targets - Enemies will now switch targets more quickly, depending on threat.
  • Font slightly to improve readability - This is part of the coming interface overhaul!
  • Starting layout of units and convoy - This is to improve new player experience, still a work in progress.

Fixed:

  • Repair drone - Now goes on cooldown when used.
  • Enemies generation - Enemies should no longer spawn without weapons.
