Combat Cats is a Bejeweled style puzzle game with Action/RPG elements. You match brick combinations to attack the enemy, while taking care to avoid enemy damage and heal yourself. This is a high speed brick breaking game, with huge combo's expected and required to beat harder levels. Setting off massive combo's will allow you to nuke your opponents in different ways. The setting of Combat Cats: All the catnip was stolen from Kitty Island, the perpetrators have made themselves known, and are called the Aquarium Alliance (A large school of fish). They want the cats gone...you must get back the catnip, or all of your base will belong to them. That is all.
Great Game! The graphics are fantastic and very well made, the puzzles are fun and fast paced, couple that with the great retro sound track and you got an awesome game, Thouroughly enjoyable!

Definitely worth the $4.99, Combat Cats is a nice spin on the matching-type puzzle games. Complete levels to acquire coins and catnip to purchase various ship and weapon upgrades, replay levels to go for extra bank and/or a better rating to unlock further levels, complete with boss battles. Above the gameboard, you can watch your feline space warrior colorfully decimate enemies as you make matches, trigger nukes, etc., which honestly most of the time you'll be focused on the gameboard. Last but not least, a good helping of in-game achievements as well!
