Navigate through a maze cut into the mountainside, all the while running from a robotic enemy.
The game is good and really startled me. Got the recommendation to use headphones with increased the experience.
It began with low sounding environment. I moved forward not knowing what to expect. Turned a corner to see a sign and a map! "A labyrinth game? I wonder if theres gonna be some sort of puzzel" I thought to myself. I made my way west (always take left turn in a maze) It was calm as I slowly made my way forward. I turned a corner when suddenly there was a very loud sound! My heart skipped a beat, I flailed around with the mouse and shouted in suprise "wtf was that!" then everything turned white.
Still in confusion of what just happened I just sat there. my heartbeat slowly going down to actual human speed again.
I had to play more!
The maze game concept is taken to a whole new level. You get dropped into a cave and must find your way out, only to be greeted with a much larger maze on the surface, with multiple levels. Go around collecting the map pieces to reveal the way out. If only it were that simple. There are robots who will do anything they can to keep you from doing so. There is no death thankfully, but you are instead seamlessly teleported back to the checkpoint for another attempt.
This was a short and simple adventure game with great gameplay, and good textures. ...but a short intro is missing with information about why we are in a maze and why there are robots hunting us. The ending has to be a little more clear too. Other than that the gameplay was very nice, I liked the idea of the map assembly and the constant threat, the droids.
All in all, this was a great short game!
