CHIVALRY: Medieval Warfare is a first-person medieval online combat game that seeks to deliver the intensity of epic hollywood medieval block busters to the hands of a gamer. CHIVALRY hurls the player into a fictional medieval world where the Agathian Knights are battling against the newly formed Mason Order for control of the lands of Agatha.
As soon as they join the game players choose from a selection of several classes, which control the appearance, characteristics and abilities that will be available to them. Classes include Archers, Man-at-arms, Vanguards, Knights and Support class. Each of these classes will be able to equip a selection of weapons including swords, battle axes, crossbows, longbows, shields and much more. As they take to the field players will clash with an advanced melee combat system that allows full, real-time control of your swings for precision strikes. Dodge, duck, evade, block or parry your enemies strikes to counter with your own and bring him down with a satisfying gush of blood spurting from his neck as his decapitated head rolls from its resting place upon the shoulders.
Players engage in battle over epic landscapes including besieged castles, city streets, rolling plains, and waterfalls with massive siege engines such as: Catapults, Ballistas, Trebuchets, Battering Rams, Boiling Oil, Mantlets, Siege Towers, Ladders and more. Characters come alive as they gain experience, titles and traits that remind the player of his most epic moments playing the game, allow him to display his trophies to others and push him to improve his skills. This coupled with an advanced unlock system allows true customization and variety on a diverse battlefield encouraging players to achieve glory and stand above their friends and foes alike.

This game is great fun. After people watched me play it, I've not got 5 friends who all have the game. Incredibly addictive and fresh, a break away from the stale Call of Duty first person clones.

Will you guys be doing a preorder scheme or anything along those lines for the game when you arrive closer to a release stage?
I think that game is much better than other UDK games like ,,The ball''.
Game look is good for MMORPG. I'm waiting for that game! ;) Greetings!
Wow Guys....I Really gotta say the games turning out quite amazing :)
Looks Great. Mapping, Modeling, Texturing....Everything look's Awesome.
Cant wait for the release!
Not being able to jump for a full second or so after blocking/attacking is the most annoying thing I've ever seen in a video game. If you plan on keeping that crap, can you at least lower it to .1 or .2 of a second?
Actually is that locked to sv_cheats or can a server change the variable? Less developer and more server for commands is always the best option IMO.
Can't wait for this.
Is this the same chivalry that was a mod for HL2?
It is the commercial version of Age of Chivalry you can say that yes. The team behind Chivalry: Battle for Agatha is the same as it was for Age of Chivalry. Hope that answered your question!
Well it's still a free game, so "Commercial" may not be right, but yeah, it is by the same devs.
This is a commercial game and will not be free, but a standalone, for purchase indie game. We have tried to be very clear about that from the start.
