Finally got my laptops graphics card working again, so I'll give this a try.
Omg it's been so long since I last came to this website... I remember I did some fan arts for this game and now it has an alpha... And it's great ! I just played some of the maps and the game itself is just awesome, I love the way the player moves, the songs are great and it's really well made. Congratulations friend ! I must admit that I'm a bit jealous of you, since I always wanted to create a game and I didn't even get close xD Loved the alpha, this game has a future !

As to the gamedev thing: Grab an easy to use engine (if you don't have a lot of programming experience) and start experimenting/making games. Just never give up. Every minute working on a game counts and adds to your total experience. :)
