Brick Inventions is a physics based block game made in Unity 5. It combines simple blocks with physics, which creates a new, unique gameplay experience as everything you build can be destroyed. Build awesome structures, invent machines, master different challenges or play against other players in exciting multiplayer battles - the game contains a variety of modes.

A quick update about the progress on Steam Greenlight and the first video of the gameplay series which explains the mechanics and modes of the game in detail.

Hi everybody!

Brick Inventions has been on Steam Greenlight for 8 now so I thought I'd share some information about the progress with you. The game has currently over 2200 'yes' votes and is at 42% on the way to the top 100. There are still much more votes needed to have a chance to get greenlit. I also want to thank everybody who has voted for the game so far.

Through the feedback I've got from Greenlight and other sources I've noticed that there is still some confusion about how the game works exactly, why it isn't just another minecraft clone or how the multiplayer works. To address this problem I've started to create a gameplay series in which I play and explain the mechanics and modes of the game.

There will be 3 parts in the series:

  • Part1: Blocks & Positioning
  • Part2: Singleplayer & Inventor mode
  • Part3: Multiplayer

Besides the video series, I've been working on some smaller things like a new option for the crown defence mode in the multiplayer. You can now choose to have construction phases and attack phases. Each phase lasts for a specific time (3min, 5min or 10min). In the construction phase, there is a wall between the player fields so you cannot attack the other player.
I've also optimized some other things and fixed bugs which occurred because of changes for the multiplayer sandbox.
