Eliot Ness, former leader of the legendary Untouchables, only wished to spend the rest of his life working in his diner and not thinking much of the cesspit of corruption his city, Santa Esperanza, had degenerated into. Of course things rarely go as planned. When one day children start to disappear and the police just turns a blind eye to this, Eliot decides to take justice into his own hands and find, by any means necessary, the culprit and bring him to justice, even if it means burning his peaceful life to the ground and getting involved in gunfights with assassins and thugs alike. Aided by some unexpected characters, the player will control Eliot through the increasingly morbid and decadent scenarios to find the clues needed to solve the cases in the 5 episodes that this season of Blues and Bullets brings. Will you help the city stay afloat or will you sink with it?

A Crowd Of Monsters has released the second developer diary of its oncoming game Blues And Bullets. In the video diary the team behind this episodic noir story talks about the composition of the main theme, a sad blues composed by Jerry Goldsmith International Awards’ nominee Damián Sánchez and performed by Spanish singer Izä.

“Music is crucial when your game is called Blues And Bullets. We’ve tried to create the noirstyle atmosphere, not only with a specific range of colors, but with music”, says Ramón Nafria, CEO at a Crowd Of Monsters. In this regard, music has a cinematic nature that reminds of the James Bond’s movies’ soundtrack but with the unique sensitivity provided by the special voice of Izä. “She is not the usual Blues singer and this is her main strength because she can sing a Blues with a fresh style”, says Damián Sánchez, composer at Sonotriger.

Blues And Bullets’ main theme is about a person who has lost everything in the same way as Eliot Ness, the main character of the game, has left his life behind and only wishes to spend the rest of his life working in his diner. Of course things rarely go as planned and Ness is forced right back into the field to investigate strange murders that have been occurring.
