Blue Rose is an interactive visual novel, following the viewpoint of the female knight Lena as she enters an unknown world deep in the mountains. Follow her as she gets tangled up in the mystery of a hidden village, and fights against dragons and betrayal to save its inhabitants, as well as find a home and love of her own.
"Deep in the mountains, away from prying eyes
is a refuge unknown to anyone else.
Born of hope
cradled in shadows
this place that only looks forward
is where I found my heart."
Lena is a Templar of the Blue Rose, living her life to fight for her country and protect what is most important. But what is truly important to her is only just about to reveal itself. Pulled away from the frontlines of the war, Lena finds herself on her own, trapped in a secluded, unknown village in the mountains. For the first time she will make her own decisions - and face the consequences.
VN's Now! announced their winners for the 2013 Best Of's, and Blue Rose got the spot for Best Romance!
A big thank you to the site that has also given the game and White Cat a nice bit of attention with their review and interviews!
And of course a congratulations to the other winners on the site, especially Muesli and Dischan for winning “English Visual Novel of the Year” and “Studio/EVN Circle of the Year”!
Here’s to hoping we can all keep it up in the new year!
