There are some people having problem hosting online game in Bloody Trapland, so here is a quick guide of how to do it. To be able to host online games in Bloody Trapland, you will need to open/forward port 6883 if your behind a firewall/router. If you for some reason is not able to open/forward this port, you may use hamachi to host a game instead. Hamachi Guide: 7: That's it, start Bloody Trapland, host a game, and let the mayhem begin! So i forwarded the 6883 port, and it didn't work. I also did step by step what you said for Hamachi and that didn't work as well. My friend keeps getting timed out |

It sounds like you or your friend have a firewall blocking. Can you see port 6883 on Canyouseeme.org? Edited by: Torshall |

Nah I can't even see it on port 6883. How exactly do I give it network access? |

Depends completly on your setup, if you have a third part firewall for example. but this is how you do it on windows 7: Edited by: Torshall |

Hi, I've opened my ports to 6883, but it still says it's closed. It works for minecraft when I use the given website to check if the port works. Do I enter a different ip-address for the port? Currently I enter my ipv4 address for my ports. |

Hi Undiminished, Are you behind router of some sort? If so you will need to foward the port to your computer. |

Thanks for the quick response! I was just hosting a public game to test if my port was open and random people joined my game so I assumed the port works. Even though the site says my port is closed, I assume it's working regardless. I'll let you know if I have trouble when my friends try to join in a couple of minutes. Fantastic game by the way! A lot of laughs so far with just random people that joined. I know this is a tad off topic, but is there any chance for an in-game chat as well as a group consensus on continuing to the next level? It works, but my game crashes at loading screens occasionally. My friends time out frequently. We switched to hamachi and the same deal happens. I like the game, but it got pretty frustrating. With the random people it didn't crash very often. I dunno why it's different. Edited by: Undiminished |

Im having the same problem. Do you know how to open/forward your port 6883? I went here: |

Apparently that site isn't always reliable, try it ingame instead. If everything is ok, you should see a "ping" in the lobby. Edited by: Torshall |

How do I open/forward port 6883? I dont what that means. :\ I really wanna start playing with my friend already... |

I think it will be easier for you to do the hamachi thing then. Just follow the 7 steps above, remember that both of you need to install hamachi though. Edited by: Torshall |

Hello! I recently bought Bloody trapland for myself and my friend and we both think its awesome (a bit frustrating sometimes though >.<). However we cant really play online together since neither of us knows how to portforward. I dont know if this really is a good place to post it but my friend says hamaachi has a virus in its latest update is it true? Please answer cause we really want to play with eachother. |

Port forwarding might be a bit tricky depending on you setup/experience, so if ur having problem i would suggest using hamachi. Do you and you friend/s get connected to the same hamachi lobby with a green light? If so, host a server and let you friends join you by choosing "Manual join" and enter your hamachi ip. This is important as they will not be able to connect to you through the server list. |

Hey, a bit of a problem. My bloody trapland isn't full screen, and it's up in the corner hidden. What to do? c: Edited by: Kitsuno |

No, you don't need Desura to play. You could either download the standalone, or just start the game from the folder: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\Bloody Trapland" |

What does port/forward mean? |
||
Sep 24 2012 Anchor | ||
It's basicly that you setup your router to send all the packages that come from a specific port to be forwarded to a your computer, i.e, the game host. However, how you do this varries from router to router. Edited by: Torshall |

It would be cool if there was no port forwarding, most of us aren't that technical and just want to enjoy the game. Hamachi doesn't sound like a bad idea too but not good as the official servers and you get to meet to new people. |
