Hi!
Few words to say that the Linux version of Blocks That Matter is now available through the Indievania page of the game!
The Windows version can also be purchased on Desura!
Also remember that there is a tech demo available on IndieDB, to test the game before purchasing (or not purchasing!).
Note that we are working on a real demo version (with new exclusives levels). To be finished anytime soon!
For the newcomers, here is the pitch of the game:
"When indie game developers Alexey and Markus are in trouble, their only hope comes from their creation.
You are the Tetrobot: a tiny robot that can drill blocks of matter one by one, collect them, and recycle them into new pieces of 4 blocks. You also have the possibility to destroy lines of 8+ blocks in a very «retro russian» game style.
Sand, wood, stone, obsidian, iron, diamond: each matter has its specific behaviour you'll have to use wisely and take advantage of them.
So get ready to use your brain and combine your platforming and puzzle-solving skills in this incredible mashup!"
Here are the key features of the Indievania release:
And to finish, the launch trailer!
Blocks That Matter is available on Indievania (win/mac/linux) (and also on Desura! (windows only)) for 4.99$
If we buy through Indievania, will we then be able to get it through Desura when it's supported on Linux?
Thanks for supporting us Linux gamers!
Hi Cl0p1n!
For sure we will put the Linux version on Desura the moment the platform will support this!
We just don't know when it will happen, but we are looking forward to this moment!
I just realized that I didn't answered the question!
Question was about a Desura Redeem code if you purchased the game on Indevania.
Answer is:
It could be a great idea, we will think about that, and have to figure out if it's doable or not.
Annd just like that I think you conveniently solved our Mac, Linux, and Solaris Problem. :) Good find you guys! We'll definitely be looking into Indievania.
Thanks!
Indievania is a very sweat place.
But I love the Desura approach with the Desura client to install and that allow the player to have all his game in one place, with a great ease of updates :]
