Beret is a 2D puzzle-platformer game about a scientist, astonishingly named Beret, who has gained telekinetic abilities through his research at the Evil Corporation. He decides that the Evil Corporation is a tad too evil for his liking, and begins his solitary quest to overthrow the corporation and punish the evil deeds of his employers. Beret has 21 puzzle-filled levels, 120 collectable Medallions, over 20 hours of gameplay, and an unlockable level editor.

Here's another one of those bug levels. (As far as I can tell, the standard now is to put those levels in Downloads, not Add-ons, but when I submitted the level it got placed in the Add-ons section anyway.) The write-up in the add-on post itself pretty much explains all the anomalous behavior I was able to find. One thing I didn't mention in the post but should is that the arrow blocks embedded in the ground point to the "head" block of the chain, since it's otherwise impossible to distinguish which pink block isn't linked to by some other pink block. |

Thanks for the demonstration level. I'm pretty sure this bug is also due to the weird way that pink/blue link blocks are coded, but I'll investigate it. |
