Greetings BattleTankers!
There's always this saying that it's "Better late than never", so after a decade of BattleTanks II release, we are pleased to announce that we are considering and planning to revive this game or something similar in gameplay by taking on the next installment through a remake, TankBattle (working title). We are already working on an early prototype version and the game will still be based on BattleTanks II, including some of the mechanics like action/orders, adding improved particles/explosions, projected shadows with planned features like better graphics, new game modes, modding tools, custom maps creation using new and existing pipeline, cross-platform(Win/Linux/OSX) and the possibility of multiplayer and shader support.
This will be a purchased game and by getting the pre-order or early access version, you will be among the first in supporting us and contributing to the game's future development and updates.
Feel free to post a comment if you have questions or if you would also like to help out in other ways by sharing some ideas or contributing your existing or sending new models/assets for the early prototype versions, just send me a message. Full credit, name or nick will be shown in the game credit screen.

Hey Fortazure, Thanks! One way to help out right now is also by spreading the word about this game project. The website/page will be up soon after we upload some screenshot updates.
