heard of smoothing groups? look into it
oh and you could easily take away a basicly all polygons from the clip and put into the model itself, same goes for the barrel, i guess at 18+ sided cylinder? now tell me WHY is that necessary? and why is every edge chamfered? that is just plainly a waste of polies
I agree. I think some of the models need adjustments in poly usage.
Low poly modeling is all about the silhouette. The detail is in the texture. Try taking a look at this.

I know man, I've been swamped with school. At least my skills have improved. I'll try to get that buzzsaw to you, and now that I'm know some polycount stuff I can probably either bring down the count or add more detail for the same poly.
It looks like you guys have made some good progress and I'm sorry haven't been able to play as integral a part as I might have hoped.

I like the look of this one better than the update. That updated one looks too small and light to me...this one could still use work, but the overall "feel" seems better.
