Today Microsoft revealed more details about its fourth annual Summer of Arcade on Xbox LIVE, and that means some big news for us here at Supergiant Games: It means we can tell you that Bastion is coming to the Xbox 360 on July 20, less than a month from now. (Note our PC launch date is still to be determined -- our focus right now is on the Xbox 360 launch.)
Bastion will be the first Summer of Arcade title to kick off the program, and will be selling for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
With the game releasing so soon, we're very, very excited to see what you all will think of it. Thanks so much to all of you who saw the potential in Bastion to get us to this amazing point in our studio's relatively short history.
Is this any indication of when it will be releasing for PC? I would consider getting an Xbox 360 for some extra time with Bastion.
Hey, the PC release date is still to be determined, we have work to do on the controls in particular and will take as long as that takes.
It's all about the PC ver., I look forward to that.
