We really weren't prepared for a lot of people wanting to "get to understand the story of the game" a lot better in the languages they are natural in. So we decided to gather some help to work on several different branch releases of Banzai Pecan, with the following:
*Japanese
*French
*Spanish
*Italian
*Dutch
*Portuguese
For starters. Remember, this may be a side project while we re-group and start working on our next project which we will announce on the Serious*Impact Works' Facebook, our Desura group, and on Zanza Studios' website.
If there's another language you'd like for us to aim for as well, feel free to suggest!
I know it's a broken record at this point, but thank you all for the support and suggestions after all this time! It means a lot to the team!

One of the best Beat'em ups I've played in a long time. It's hard, got that classic 2D arcade feel! Wonderful soundtrack to boot! Thank you for giving me a blast from the past! Oh, can't forget the wonderful character designs! Keep up the amazing work bro!!

This is kind of a dumb thing to ask, but do you a resolution and fullscreen option could be added in a future update? I don't know why the current version of the demo (the one I'm getting off Desura anyways) still have lagging issues that hinders the controls; it makes playing the demo harder than it should be.
See what I did there? I'm giving constructive feedback on the demo. Now if only the idiots that trolled you on Steam Greenlight could learn to do that...

Before I forget, here's my system specs. Not sure if it will answer the lagging issues.
OS: WIndows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Video Card; NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.50GHz
RAM: 6GB
PS - just wanted to add that the full version on Desura and Indievania get constantly updated. The only "major slowdown" would be from the "free" version that's been floating around, so.... :/
What sort of slowdown are you getting, if I may ask? The game ran in slow motion for me until I got it on another machine. Literally a solid third of the speed of what the game should have run at.
Hotline Miami gave me the same problem, but only the Steam version did. The same version of the game without Steam had no trouble. I don't get it.
I've tried to mess around with a "Video" option in the original build, which somehow gave me problems when I updated the actual engine. It's one of the few things I'm looking into for this new update, which not only will I update the full game, but will also update the demo with the new fixes, giving the ultimate taste for this game. It still baffles me why it's giving you problems, though perhaps it IS the demo itself since the actual full game has been updated a few times. Hopefully with the demo fix coming up as well, it may fix this! With your specs, it should be MORE than enough to run the game, though if worse comes to worst, setting the game in "XP Mode" may make or break it.
Appreciate the feedback, hopefully, we can nail this in the bud.
I wanted to mention this earlier but the time limit to edit comments was up and this happened afterwards; I found a game-breaking bug in the demo where French Vanilla's boob counter sends you flying... and never coming back. The game just hangs where Pecan should respawn. But again, this was from the (current) demo.
The demo hasn't updated yet, but yeah. Found that in the full version and actually found why too. Talk about a simple reason. Hopefully that works and after that led to changing the "graphic" side of the engine for the sake of having run without a hitch! Good eye, though!

As I mentioned to you, one of the best things to use for a 360 gamepad is Joy2Key, at least that's what everyone else has been recommending to me a lot! Hope it helps.
