The A.Typical RPG features everyday situations, tactical RPG gameplay, cartoony hand drawn art, branching storyline and a sense of humor in a strange town called whatever-this-place-is-ville. The game is based on the lives of a bunch of friends as they trudge through a college semester, with everyone in the town – ranging from bullies to real estate agents out to get them. Will they be able to survive?

Post news Report RSS Gameplay trailer and website launch!

We launch the gameplay trailer of the A.Typical RPG, and our new website! And we also talk release dates.

Well, this is the moment! The moment that we have all been waiting for has finally arrived! And here it comes…

Surprise!

Oh yeah, I just got my pizza delivered! Now where was I? Right, The new A.Typical RPG gameplay trailer, obviously. Let me rephrase that particular statement to emphasize its colossal importance.

A.Typical RPG Gameplay Sneak Peek Released!

Expect a big announcement about a demo and pre-orders soon!

Plus, I also have a bit of a bad news - our initial estimate of a March 1 release date was very optimistic, which I am afraid we won't be able to meet. We'll keep you posted on this. We are a small indie team, and we would rather release late than release incomplete. Hope you understand.

I’ll let you enjoy the video now, visit the new Pyrodactyl site to find out more about the game. I’m leaving for now, my pizza’s getting cold.

Great work! I'm really happy to see new gameplay mechanics in RPGs :)
Just a small suggestion about the emotion-dialog system: if you portray both faces of the speakers during dialogs, you can show the emotion of the player character directly to the player when choosing emotions. Direct feedback of the protagonist emotions seems more adequate than just the colors of the emotion boxes.
Cheers!

Great suggestion! Don't worry, that particular buttons of conversations are work in progress art - each button will properly represent an emotion when Henri draws them :)
