Ascendant is the unforgiving beat 'em up that challenges you with a new world each time you play. It utilizes a number of modern roguelike elements such as permadeath and procedurally generated environments. You are a demigod who invades a plane controlled by your rivals. They will stop at nothing to eliminate you. Only the most impressive warriors will triumph over their armies of zealots and beasts. By exploring the world, discovering new weapons, spells, and Blessings, and learning how to survive in this brutal realm, you may have a small chance at winning.

Hapa Games has released their first game, Ascendant, on Windows. Mac and Linux editions are slated to be released later this week.
Ascendant is available for purchase on the Hapa Games website or the itchi.io storefront.
The game was also recently Greenlit and is scheduled to release via Steam on May 13th.

On our website, on Desura, wherever we can really.
But since we just got Greenlit we will be releasing on Steam as well. Not on the 6th though - we still have to integrate Achievements, trading cards, and all of that. Once we have more of an idea on how long this will take we will let everyone know.
