I grew up playing platformers, but when I was a kid I never realized how much work went into them by making a gazillion maps. Right now I'm currently making hand drawn maps as well as Photoshop maps. I've come to realize that I have 300+ maps to go, and that by the end of the project I will have enough hand drawn maps to cover the entire floor of every room in my house and then some.
