Hi, i've been tracking your game 'After Reset' for a while. Im a 17 years old teen that has high interest for isometric RPG games such as fallout. and im curious about the combat mechanism of this game, can you tell me a little about it?
Thanks, man. Yap...
I tried to bring together the very best of the mechanics of Dungeons and Dragons edition 3.5 and SPECIAL and used my five years of experience as a Dungeon Master on game servers to optimize them into a balanced setting for our game. If you’ve played Baldur’s Gate, Neverwinter Nights or Fallout 1&2, it’ll all be pretty intuitive for you. And yes, don’t forget that God made everyone different, but Colonel Colt evened the playing field. Good or bad, level three or seven, a lot of strength or a little – in the expanses of the wasteland, what matters is who has a gun. :)
In terms of fights, I’m often asked: will the game have a turn-based system or real-time. I can safely say that the game will be rule-based real-time (like Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate, and Planescape: Torment).

Why do you need backing now? I mean, you were doing fine until now
Because I am empty of resources for this project as a hobby. Reckon to make it real deal with your help and release it by 2015.
Awesome dude!
This is not a good first Kickstarter Trailer. First of all, there is too much "artefacting" in the first few minutes. Maybe future camera all have terrible picture quality, but the constant shaking is annoying.
Then you repeat the same images without the shaking and your voiceover. I was expecting a first glimpse at gameplay here and automatically skipped ahead.
Then you talk a whole lot and then there is a little bit of gameplay by the end. I had already forgotten everything you said by then.
This needs a better pacing, structure and I'd say try to keep it within a 5 minute mark for the first Kickstarter Trailer. Unless you have a lot to show, 24 minutes is a loooong time.
Mmmmm.. I'll look into it... mb we can fix it...
Well this all seemed promising, and everything seemed good. Until I saw the $900,000 goal. I will be extremely surprised if you even get half of that when time runs out. I honestly wish you good luck, but I just don't see it happening. Now, as for the trailer, I think it was fine.
Id have to agree with sam, i understand the need for funding, but unless you have a set of offices you have just built to house your game studio, i can not understand why the goal is so high.
Such a game cant be done "in a house". It requires no less than 15 people and several decent subcontractors. E.g. recreating 1/3 of only character animations from Fallout 2 by motion capture technology we use for our game costs more than $12k. Our character models cost more than $1500 each (skinning and rigging +400 more). Level design cost $2-5k per each level.
You guys look pretty deep in development, good luck! Looks good so far :D
Thanks, man!
