This is the first in a series of games that will take the Adventures Apes from one location to the next, one era to the next, all in an effort to keep the world's most precious treasures out of Horatio's hands! The full version one the Adventure Apes Webpage has 5 bosses and more than 100 rooms plus an illustrated instruction booklet! :)

After a long battle with anguish, the day has come to rejoice!

Well, as you may or may not know, the Mayan Mystery had its Desura application rejected a while back. It was terrible news indeed, as I had put a lot of time and effort into creating a game that I was proud of. I guess it's similar to a parent with an ugly baby...everyone sees it but the parent!

I salvaged what pride I could and went back to tweaking the game. Some features were modified and/or added. Most notably the framerate was increased, and a fullscreen mode was added. There were quite a few minor changes as well, but they should only help enrich the game. I had hope that it was polished enough at that point and applied again, but tried not to get my hopes up after the previous application.

Shortly thereafter it was all set into motion, and I was given some good news after a random check today!! It's kind of nice to know that there is such thing as a second chance sometimes.
Anyhow, without any further ado, I present to you the Adventure Apes little corner of Desura. Go and check it out, help spread the word, do whatever you like really, but if you do try the game, I sincerely hope that you enjoy it!

Thanks for commenting _poe_! I'm glad that you've got a feeling of hope now, it can be depressing when you work hard on something and don't get the results you want. Just got to try not getting discouraged and put in your best effort. You never know what might happen right?
