Can 8-bit Jim jump a double-decker bus in his battery-powered 1980's motor-trike? There's only one way to find out...

In the mid 1980's in the UK, there was an amazing battery-powered recumbent tricycle released by the same inventor who brought us the ZX81, ZX Spectrum, and other early home computers. Way before its time, it was stylish, impractical and brilliant.

In tribute to this under rated and much-mocked vehicle, 8-bit Jim will attempt to complete 4 courses of stunt madness using only the power of the 1985-issue battery and occasionally the built-in pedals. His good friend Max Hairstyle will time his attempts and post the results to Apple Game Center.

(Beware, if 8-bit Jim crashes the 1980's wonder-trike, there is a slight possibility of battery explosion...)

Don't take it too seriously... it's just a bit of fun. Enjoy!

8-bit Jim's Jump Challenge

News
It took a bit longer than planned, but 8-bit Jim's Jump challenge is now live on iOS. A version for the Kindle should follow shortly.

Help 8-bit Jim complete 4 very difficult stunt courses in a vintage electric vehicle that was not designed for this sort of thing. He's got an accelerator, no brakes, and the 1980's battery might just cause an explosion if he crashes too heavily!

It's all highly pixelated, and set to music that will make you feel like the 80s never ended...

We hope that ideas for future courses will come from players themselves-- watch out for a competition in the near future!
