3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! Initially, I struggled with the game and dismissed it as just an alpha a few weeks back, but I came back to it yesterday and sat down determined to see what'd happen and if I'd like it.
No worries there, it is one of the best games of its kind and of the year so far, it's Quake meets Fallout meets Minecraft. However, I'm hesitant to bring up Mojang's title as I just know the fanboys will be all over it screaming it uses blocks so it MUST be a clone.
Wrong, it stands apart on its own two feet. It describes itself as a block action RPG. It is, I was initially annoyed about losing my starting equipment and being lost, but, as I grew more comfortable in the world I started slowly trying things, always staying close to a landmark so I knew where I was.
More I play, the more I love it, I'm not sure how far I am into the game, but it keeps impressing me, I'm keen to see where the game goes in the future.
