Can we get torrents (magnet links)? I feel bad for using so much ModDB bandwidth and using a torrent can be faster for downloading at least with more popular mods. |

That you need to ask individual mod developers. They can always make a .torrent file, upload it here in a .zip and distribute files that way. |

It would still use ModDB's bandwidth, why shouldn't it? Better upload it to a big cloud server like Dropbox or Google Drive - they have nearly unlimited bandwidth. Btw ModDB has enough bandwidth you don't have to feel bad for it. |

Would ModDB be considered less reputable if it was full of torrents? ;-) Magnet links themselves would probably not be a problem, and it would indeed take some load off m-DB servers. |

Not really. IIRC, Company of Heroes patches used to be distributed as torrents. Torrents themselves are not a synonym for piracy |

Yeah, patched CoH that way and the very use of them was really surprising. Well maybe not, but quite a few big companies look at the torrents like they were piracy incarnate. ;-) |
