Read this great post by Arrowhead Studios yesterday. It goes through all the requirements that they have for anyone who wants to get a job in the gaming industry - but I think it has very good general guidelines that most studios can agree to. The post is relevant to Programmers, Artists, Designers and Sound Designers. There is also two example portfolios from Artists (one inexperienced, one experienced) who in the end got hired by Arrowhead. Unfortunatly there are no programmer or designer folio examples but the post is worth reading anyway. |

Glad you liked it. Since Arrowhead didn't post any examples of programmer portfolios, here's the portfolio of one of my friends and former colleagues, Rasmus - who is a graphics programmer. Hopefully it will inspire others who want to work as coders: Edited by: Nightshade |
