ROTR 1.86 Problems Overheating of hardware Thread

I just installed the new patch of ROTR which is the 1.86,,,, after I installed I start it to play then after I played that there was a message pop-up that "Microsoft said hardware problem due to overheating of the machine" and one thing when I was playing the game on 1 on 1 with the Ai(brutal), it always lag and lags and lags...

this is my game rig
Video card : Asus GT730 2Gig DDR3
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA970/DS3P
Memory : Kingston HyperX 4GB
PROCIE : PHENOM II X4 955


and can you give me a game specs of General : Rise of the reds patch 1.86

That is interesting... what version of a OS are you running? do you have any apps active while playing ROTR? These can influence the system's stability and cause overheating.

Got the same problem, any ideas?

I only just downloaded the mod and last patch.

Had similar problems with other mods..
