You may have better success if you specify what type of game your aiming for.

Also, are you an incorporated company?

thats the thing, i am looking for people to form a company so then we can create games and game ideas, im not looking for people to make 1 project that will have temporary members in it. im looking for people who commit to their work.

Your chicken and egging the issue.

How will we know your a good business partner if we don't know your background, and if we don't know what kind of games you want to make.

How will we know what games you want to make, if we don't know your background?

The only way for this to work under your current assumptions, is if you have past projects to show.

Forming a company and becoming business partners is a big thing, hell, took me and my prospective business partner ~5 years before we decided we'd work well together in the long run.

Finding a team is tough enough, when you have a concept. Right now, your asking people to be committed, without any idea what concept they will be committed to.

The skills and roles you'll need, and when you'll need them completely depend on what your doing.

Honestly, at the end of the day, as in gamedev as in life, you have no idea who will stick around, until they actually just do it over time.

(life happens, priorities change, competencies and interests wax and wane.)

lol,

Wow....

if you give up that easily, your definitely not gamedev material.

Look, it's simple project management 101: project planning, if you, and the ppeople don't know what the specific goal is, there is no way it will succeed. Defining roles, only works if people know what they are doing.

You don't call a meeting of random strangers, and when they ask what the meeting is about, you tell them we'll figure it out when we all get there. And for sure, you don't tell them, if you turn up, you have the chance to be my business partner, tho there is no business, and no defined market. (unless you have free food)

Bye drama queen.

Prove me wrong. Fight for your vague nebulous undefined dreams.

Sigh

*shakes head*

What a disappointment, guess he didn't want it bad enough...

The only thing I did, that is different from all the other onlookers, is to actually try and challenge your view, instead of all the others who just rolled their eyes, and moved on.

(and for the record, I'm using moddb, while your using indiedb, just thought I'd point that out, there are those, with higher standards than me, believe it or not.)

Deleting the evidence of your incompetence, either a very wise move, or very foolish indeed....

I genuinely hope this experience has shown you may be your meant to be doing different things with your life, like maybe become a Dr., or an astronaut or a farmer, we do need more of those.
