I wrote about Project Zomboid on my indie game review blog, as well as the hardship the developers undertook. I must say I'm really proud of them for pushing through and having such a great game.

Here you go guys Lexietgamereyeballsgr.blogspot.com

They really need much deserve love.

I was told not to purchase the game though until RC3 comes, I mention it in the blog.

=) I wonder how many ppl here played the game

EDIT: thanks for pointing out the link problem =) Figalot

Ignore TORRENTZZ he is 1 part of a wave of annoying users (Saladfingers, niggahitler and others) trying to piss people off.

Your link doesn't work for me, perhaps you linked it wrong. Fortunately I still found the page (http://lexietgamereyeballsgr.blogspot.com.au). I did try Zomboid back when there was a demo on their site. Overall I wasn't completely impressed. I found myself not to troubled by the zombies at all and just found myself walking around and to be totally honest I enjoyed reading others experiences and fan faction from the game more than I had playing it.

seeing as what the devs went through was tough I may still purchase the game just to support them, I did this with Kenshi and it ultimately has become one of my favourite games once you get passed the initial grind of having to wait for ever to get places.

I enjoyed your article a fair bit but found certain parts paragraphed weirdly but ultimately that didn't distract from a good read.

I'm waiting for the steam version; until then it's torrent for me. I don't really trust any other program but steam as I already purchased some games from it and nothing went wrong.

Thank you it means a lot =) At the moment, they're working hard to implement many features in the game. Like I said on the blog though, it doesn't have as much as other survival games, but at the moment it's because they had to keep starting from scratch. =) I'll update the blog though when new things come up. I hope you do, I've been keeping tabs on their progress and they're working on a lot of cool features to further simulate how it would be like if we were indeed in a zombie infested world.

@Rapsis, it already got greenlighted in steam really fast (which became a problem when all those unfortunate events happened. It basically backlashed at them because they had to start from scratch on updates they were almost finished with so the community were not amused)

I think when it comes to buying games online with your card, EA is the only one you have to be carefull with, but I bought Zomboid and really liked it. but man, I really didn't know any of that stuff hapened with paypal and all that.
Good review of the game and thanks for sharing the story of the devs.

Ooh, are they making this again? That catastrophic loss data was a real kick in the teeth I can sympathise with.
