I just realized there is none. Thought there used to be one.

I am baffled that this is missing.

What do you mean? There is an option in the Games section between Indie and AAA (non commercial/commercial).

There should be a filter - what page are you on?

Why would indie games be non-commercial? If it's sold, it's commercial no matter if it's an indie project or AAA.

AAA/indie is not a price tag filter, and as null. said it has nothing to do with it.

Yes would like to see such a filter too. No,there never was one on this site AFAIK. The only "free/paid" filter is on Slide DB on store buttons - but you can't sort indies/AAAs by commercial/noncommercial/free-to-play.

I always thought that commercial games are these that are made by big studios live Valve, Eidos, etc. while non-commercial (even if they are sold) are the ones made by small, independent teams. If the creator of this thread wants, as feillyne said, a free/paid filter, then yes, I don't think that ModDB has one and it sounds like a good idea to implement it.

Yes, sold vs free as in free beer.
