Need Doom II Teleporter Thread

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong location.

What I am looking for is a teleportation mod for Doom/Doom II

Some mod that would allow me to set and place my own teleports ingame on the map. The reason is because I've been playing the chillax map pack maps and the maps tend to be exceedingly huge where if the player dies has to traverse many long empty halls just to get back to the action and usually quickly die again and have to travel everything all over again. It gets annoying.

This is why i'd like to have a mod, a teleporter mod that gives me the option to set a teleporter anywhere in the map to get back to a location quicker.

I'm aware that through zandronum, I can set the game for a player to respawn where they last died but thats not what I am looking for. Plus there are lava traps where if you fall into you can't get back out so respawning in there is definitely not beneficial.

I've searched but haven't found any such mod here, unless I am not looking in the correct place. Any help?

Or if anyone has a cheat, wad or suggestion on how I can achieve this or something similar to it then please do so.
