Hey guys, (sorry if wrong section)

Having done a bit of voice work in my own games such as Cursing Vikings, I decided to make a demo reel to show *some* characters/ranges as I wanted to offer voiceover services for a very cheap price, it isn't top notch studio quality but you'll pay a lot of money for that, and it is indiedb after all. So take a look at my reel or even look at cursing vikings and if you want me in your project get in touch with me and we'll discuss what you want and come to an arrangement, also feedback appreciated.

Not too shabby acting and the recording sounds like it's clear of static :)

You keep blowing air directly into the mics reciever though, and thats hurting the overall performance you can give. Unless you find a way to avoid it, you can't really expect to charge anything for the service you provide, at least I'd be hard pressed to imagine anyone wanting to pay for it. Static in itself can be removed with software, but those breaths are hard to edit out when they run straight across the recording like that.

You could try speaking either directly above or, preferably, directly below your microphones reciever, that allows the air to travel below the mic while your voice still gets captured clearly.

Relating to the above comment. Use a pop shield! Or even easier, a layer of cloth inbetween your mouth and the microphone should do the work. (Not touching the microphone) Not too bad on the acting to be fair though! :) Just make sure you have the best sound for next time you do record!

Yeah I defo need some better kit, but it isn't cheap either though hopefully it'll pay it's self off. The cloth thing and other tips should help though cheers guys 8)

No worries! I for example, for my personal stuff (I do music) I have a really crappy "X Factor" (I have no clue if it's a toy one or what... my brother gave it to me) Dynamic Microphone xD with a bit of editing you can make it sound decent enough. :) But it will never match a £400 microphone of course...
