Hey there, so I've been all over the web for the past 2 days straight learning the basics of making a CSGO mod and following tutorials and such. I have the 2013 Source Multiplayer SDK up and running and error free... and I've created my first cpp file, which is in one of the valve tutorials on creating your first entity...

I can compile everything just fine, but I'm not sure how to actually run the mod... To test it out and such. I know I can run it through Hammer, but I don't think I have the 'link' set up correctly between Hammer and my Mod files.

I created my mod folder in this directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\sourcemods

Inside that directory, I have the 'source-sdk-2013' folder with the compiled source SDK, as well as my mod .fgd and gameinfo.txt

Can anyone give me some pointers on where to go from here?

If you're willing to help me out via IM, you can contact me that way as well! VERY VERY much appreciated. Thanks!
