Hi guys,
I used to play a lot of Minecraft and consequently got into posting a lot on PlanetMinecraft . About two years ago I got a bit bored and stopped playing. A few weeks back I went on planetminecraft for more or less the same reason, I was bored. I have now been working on various projects in unity for the past year now and believe i have recognised some definite talent for detail and design within the mine craft community, Here are a few examples that could be directly translated into to environment art or at least I think so... Note : these are not mine some confusion here!!

These are just a few of which I noted on the PMC reel, obviously these are by no means ready made levels to be put into games but more or less indications of definite modelling capability that could be transferred into 3d modelling.

Opinions?

I wouldn't say its an indication of your 3d modelling capability, but rather your creativity, and perhaps architectural ability. Work hard, and make some 3D Models and see where it takes you :D

I just taking it as a general observation on PMC that a lot of them seem to have some artistic talent, an eye for detail, creativity and obviously a lot of patience. Personnally when some can visualise to that level an end product thats half the work in 3d moddelling done.
