I'm a bit new to the gaming development community. I'm looking to make a video game that people can enjoy and spend minimal time with, but when needed. Spend a lot of time with. A game that progresses with you, and only you. Sandbox/Open World. Does anyone have ideas?

I'm not really sure on what you want but I can suggest you to find games which are close to your concept. Then start create similar game adding your own idea there

Hello,

After watching this video: Youtube.com about force users not aligned to the Jedi or Sith. I was wondering if there were any modders that could make a "Force War" Mod and include exclusively, as many force wielders and sensitives, maybe planets and units, as they can. Avaloth Could be a Solo Army/Unit, that Legend's Luke, The emperor or Plagus, would have to be envolved infighting to be able to defeat, Possibly a similar thing with "the one's" :-D anyway I don't know, If any of you wanna take up this challenge, May the Force be with you :-D

Try this for your game concept. Mobilegamegraphics.com Hoping that one can really help you to get more ideas which game that you will develop.

I think you should go for a deep see game in which we can explore the Under See life.

If you're new, my advice would be to focus on shorter, more achievable projects. Stay away from sandbox and open world unless you can really simplify some of the development axes (for example, if you wanted to make an open world text adventure, that would be a lot simpler than an open world 3d engine).

I'd also caution that sandbox games tend to, by design, demand a large time commitment. A lightweight sandbox probably wouldn't hold attention for a long time, but a deep one would probably require a lot of time to get into. It's inherent in the design.

I agree. Are you sure want to start with open world? I would suggest more research into that before tackling such a project. Look into the games that influence you now or when you were a child.

Panic Mansion is a combination of a trivia game and an action-rpg. You must find your way through the Panic Mansion (like a panic room but a whole mansion) by completing quests, answering questions and defeating bosses at the end of each level.

Maybe this is an off-topic, but can a GTA or whatever sandbox-styled game maps to be pulled out completely to the 3d software like 3dsmax (for example) to do just a modification that its need and changing the environment to the specific needs for the all-new game?

It would cut a development time, significantly, by able to do so.

And yes, commitment for open sandbox game is huge. I suggest for a "semi-sandbox" styled gameplay if you wish to do so . (A'la NFS Underground, where the maps are basically around the same places, but with added sign for invisible wall' to mark the route and direction which player should follow time-by-time)
