Is there a way to enable a unit... Thread

Hello,

I am new to this forum, but I have a quick question for the regular SWGBS. Is there a way to enable a unit that is exclusive for one Civilization (Such as the Destroyer Droid for the Trade Federation) to be made in a different civilization? I tried playing with the triggers of enabling techs, research, and units, but to no avail. I am wondering if this is possible at all. Thank you in advance.

And just a word for all of you who are VERY computer literate to computer wizards: I am neither. In fact, I'm a bit of a computer moron. So if there is a way, please keep answers to a "mono-syllabic" technical language. Thanks again.
