I'm a bot? Thread

OK, So, I just tried to create an account here on ModDB only to find out my e-mail already has an account here, and, just look at my name, it's clearly a spam bot of some kind? Is there a way I could have my name changed or have this account deleted so I can make a proper one with my e-mail?

Can you provide more details via a PM? Your e-mail, the already registered account name (if you know it)? Also to note, ModDB/IndieDB had its database shared with Desura once. Perhaps you signed up only on Desura yet that account remained unused here? (Just a guess.)

This is a legit account, it might be a desura one or it might have been created via facebook. Our system allocates a random username if you don't specify one. You can edit it in your profile here: Moddb.com
