Is there anything I should look out for game/accessory wise? The only game I have is Command & Conquer, but I do have the 3D controller. |

Depends on what kind of game you're looking for. If you love shmups, you're in the right place though. |

I've heard Nights is a good one. -- Thank You For Reading Me. I'm just a signiture. |

Yeah, I've heard of that one too. There was a game at the store called "Dragon Panzer Saga" (or something like that), but I didn't see it until afterwards, so I didn't have the money for it. |

I heard there was a special version of Resident Evil released for it. |

You may want to get the pro action replay+. It's the non-mod option to play imports with little hassle. I had a lot of fun with virtua cop 2 and the guncon. |

I have something called an "Ultra Madness 4M", is it similar? Or are Sega Saturn games easy to copy, like Dreamcast games? Well, they had sold the copy of Dragon Panzer Saga, but I got the vanilla game and Myst instead. You can now add Panzer Dragoon Zwei to that list. |

Dude you have to play Guardian Heroes, it's the best game for the console! |

Personally, I preferred the Sega Genesis. My favorite game of all time, to this day, is still Shining Force |

Powerslave - really great FPS with exploration element and abilities, Saturn version is probably the best one. |

I'd see if you could find a lightgun and get yourself a copy of the original House of the Dead, framerate isn't great and the mid-level loading is a bit annoying but it's still a good game. |

The Saturn version of Resident Evil included some extra costumes, a Battle mode, an new variation of the Hunter called the "Tick" and the character models have better textures compared to the original PlayStation version. I would recommend looking for Fighting Vipers, Die Hard Arcade, Exhumed (or Powerslave), Shining Force and Nights into Dreams... |

I found a copy of that, but they were asking about thirty more then I was willing to pay, and didn't have a light gun. I'll keep looking for the other games, and I'm sorry my response took so long (I was having account troubles). |

There's a crazy game on Saturn I got called Blazing Dragons. It stars Cheech Marin and Terry Jones as voice actors in the animated cut-scenes. -- Download Fart Man on Google Play! See how far you can fart, and upload your high score to the online leaderboard! |

First make sure you replace the battery for the memory and save games, I remember digging mine out years ago only to realise I'd lost all my save data, which was annoying as hell as I'd spent a lot of time a lot of games. Plus I was a ridiculous level at the end of disc 1 on Panzer Dragoon Saga, never actually had the game but Sega Saturn Magazine gave the whole of disc 1 away with an issue, and I played that to death. Same applies I think if you get the bigger memory card, still has a battery if I recall. Unfortunately most of the games I would recommend all now cost a fortune, heck I'd actually be rich if I still had my collection today, but if you can track down the following then I would get them; Dragon Force, Shining series (Force, Wisdom, Holy Ark), Panzer Dragoon Zewi (cheap), Panzer Dragoon Saga (expensive), Guardian Heroes, Mystiria: The Relms of Lore (a bit like Shining Force if you squint a bit and you're on a budget, I liked it), Sonic R, Virtua Cop 2 (assuming you get a gun and have a old TV you can use it on), Virtual On and if you like point and click games then Discworld 2 is fun. Those would be my initial pick, but the Saturn did have many more great games. Might even be worth looking on ebay to see if you can pick up a bundle of demo discs that used to come with Saturn Magazine (if you're in the UK that is). Ah the days of the Saturn and demo discs......good times. Oh and I forgot, if you run out of accessories to get and are feeling silly you can always get these;
Yes, they are Sega Saturn shoes, and yes they did come in that cool box that looks like a Saturn, and yup there are MegaDrive and Dreamcast ones! Look tacky as hell but I wish I had these! |

Sega Saturn? Don't miss "Dark Savior". It is something like zelda+street fighter played in 5 parallel timelines. Awesome soundtrack Really loved it. :-) |

Well, yesterday I got my hands on a copy on Nights, into dreams, missed getting a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga by half an hour, and now have literally more Saturn games at my game store now then there were all of last year. I'd say my collection is doing better now, even though I can't afford their price for house of the dead w/lightgun. There's also this weird disc the store has that, when you put it in, has a guy with silver paint on his face talking to us. |
