FPS Issues in MW4 Thread

Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum.

I seem to be having hard FPS drops, to around it seems 10 frames or so when playing Mechwarriors 4, Usually occuring with just a few Mechs in my field of view. I downloaded the Mektek version from this site, found here, and only that so far. I ran the auto config for High settings, but it didnt seem to do much, the graphics still look lackluster. I may just be missing another hotfix type of download, but i'm not very good with this type of stuff, so I fear I'll just manage to screw up my download of the game, haha. My computer is decently powerful, so it may just be conflicts with newer hardware.

Here are my specs.

Intel Core i5-6500 6MB Skylake Quad-Core 3.2 GHz, ASUS H110M-E/M.2 LGA 1151 Intel H110(the motherboard), ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1070 Mini, ZT-P10700G-10M, GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB), Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
