East Meets West RPG Idea Thread

I really like western rpgs like Baldur's Gate and Fallout, but I read that the original Fallout had over a hundred artists. That is a lot. My suggestion is that people make rpgs with the simple graphical style of Final Fantasy, and yet the more open-world feel of a western rpg. In fact I am considering doing something like that myself. I was thinking of using the RPG Maker MV since it runs on Linux and already has so many assets with which to work. I don't know whether or not I will do it, but it I think that it is a good idea. It would save a whole lot of development time.
