Hi Folks,

I'm part of a 2 man development team, Mega Sloth, and we've recently released the free Demo for our first ever game Choreo: Legend of Loco!!

Choreo is a 2D Musical Platformer where the complexity of the score increases as you gather followers throughout the level. We had an amazing composer (who I've linked at the bottom of this post, seriously he was fantastic) create a 6 part Score for our main level which is divided amongst followers scattered across the Demo.

At the start of each level you will only have access to a simple guitar track, giving you a basic ambient score. Each Follower you collect brings more instruments to the track, eventually giving you access to the full Theme at around the mid point of the level. The idea is that as the intensity of the level increases, so too will the music, and finding those additional instruments provides extra incentive to explore.

Both of us unfortunately lost our jobs this year, and were left in a bit of a career void, unsure where we wanted to head next. I had always wanted to try my hand at making a video game, as they've been a huge part of my life and something I've always been passionate about, so we though now was the time to see if we could do it! 5 Months later and here we are, with a working prototype, a relatively successful demo, and a freshly launched kickstarter campaign, and I couldn't be happier!

We're still in the very early stages of development, and are mostly looking for feedback on how the game can be improved / what people would like to see changed, so I was hoping some of you might want to take a look at it and let us know what you think!

If you really enjoy it, our Kickstarter is now Live, which if successful would allow us to turn the game from a prototype into a full fledged release, so feel free to show Choreo any support you like, we'd massively appreciate it!

Thanks for your time, we hope you enjoy Choreo,

Team Mega Sloth
