A series of questions, some serious, some not. I want your answer! Thread

So, I am looking to start an open source project game based on the cartoons Oban Star Racers. I really loved that anime, also Trigun but that's another story for another time.

I am not a people's guy, I am a programmer. So here it comes...

I am looking for some artists that are willing to do this in their free time ( i suppose they already work in this domain or another one, but they want to do this as a hobby).

I want to make this game and I want it to look the way the cartoon did, since we are making it open source ( code, arts everything ), we won't have to deal with copyright infringements. And if we do I will fix them, or find solutions for it.

My questions are:

1. Are you interested in participating to such project?
2. How can I find such people? If you are one please let me know here or message me privately

TLDR: For the ones that will want to give negative off subject advices. Please, don't waste your time. I think you have better stuff to do in and with your life. I am looking to find solutions to problems, not more problems.

Also long time ago I tried to make this project: Indiedb.com but I was too young and dumb to know how to tackle resource management and I had too little experience.
