Xash3D is the powerful independent open-sourced 3D-engine, aimed for high compatibility with GoldSource engine formats (maps, models, textures, sounds, entities etc.), but with the intention to be an advanced platform for modmaking or game development. Unkle Mike is preparing a regular update for Xash3D Engine. As always, there will be different innovations, improvements, bug fixes etc. It will be a very important release due to significant changes which were made.

And now you have a chance to make the upcoming build even better and stable. If you think, that you encountered any bug in original Xash3D build 3598, you can report it right now. Please give a detailed explanation of a bug you found, to make sure that we can test and confirm it. Mostly, we seeking of any bugs in the engine itself (especially rendering issues), and of any bugs, related to singleplayer mods. You have a limited time to report, because new build will be probably released very soon enough.

Please take a notice, that we're talking about original Xash3D for Windows, not about FWGS version for Windows, Android or something else. FWGS version has its' own developers, so contact with them if you have any suggestions about Xash3D FWGS.

After releasing this build Unkle Mike will work on updating of Xash3D-based mods/games (XashXT, Paranoia 2, Quake Remake) to make them properly compatible with all of new changes. So don't report about any problems in those mods/games because they a bit outdated and can work properly only with older builds of the engine.

You guys might want to take a look at that bug involving the beam sprites being pretty much full bright despite what opacity value you give it. I had to copy the code from an older build of Xash to patch the current 3598 bug.
I haven't noticed any other bugs besides an occasional dsp sound glitch when changing rooms, but I have not a clue what causes it, or a true fix to it. I only noticed adjusting the reverb in the code made it happen less frequently.
