i know this is going to sound stupid, but will this work on the ps3? cause some ps3 software works on psp, so would it be the same with this, but the other way round? i know this is dead, but whatever.

Since this will be based off of the Quake Engine, just use a Modified GoldSource Engine.

The Quake Engine is 8-Bit, but the GoldSource Engine is part 16-Bit and part 32-Bit, and the PSP is capable of both of those.

Fact: The GoldSource Engine, based off of the Quake 1 Engine and developed to be seperate, was once updated with a few lines of code from the Quake 2 Engine to fix some bugs.

Fact: Once I was playing Half-Life (the Steam Version), and I had the Quake 2 CD in my laptop and it started playing Quake 2 music when I pick-up up the HEV Suit.

Well, a half life mod was converted to a simple DS version, so it is possible.
