HeroonEngine

HeroonEngine is an open-source project, so free, to create a MMORPG entirely in the browser WebGL2 and BabylonJS. It is written in Javascript ES6. It is simple to use. He is still quite young, so it is not yet ready for production game. It is developed by a French, but it supports the English language.

HeroonEngine has a web server integrated without installation for local use. You just need to run the HeroonEngine.exe file that starts the server and then clicking Start apache this runs the web server and launches your browser with the HeroonEngine application automatically.

I have added a new tab to the editor: Media which allows to see all the objects, images that we have to import. This tab also allows you to import media. I also reorganize the toolbox of the Zones tab to clarify the interface.

Hello, I really would like to use this but I dont know how install it. I download ed easyphp, but I dont know how to set it up with this engine, and what do you mean about 'open the editor with a link after setting EasyPHP and start'

Please help thanks and cant wait tell I can use it :)

For your information. You no longer need EasyPHP now. You can run the embed server without installation. (HeroonEngine.exe file) Then click Start apache to have HeroonEngine open with your browser automatically.

This should be simpler for you.

You must add an alias in the administration of easyphp and fill in the path where your Heroonengine folder is located. Then you need to click on your alias create that will open a local internet page and open heroonengine.

EasyPHP must be started.

G'day!

If you don't mind me asking a question, what all is this engine capable of, in terms of doing itself?

Such as, how much coding is needed just to get a game up in place, not even speaking of the games content?

Hello,

There is no coding to do really, everything is managed by the editor that create the game. The code to do are scripts to perform specific tasks, interact with objects... But the editorprovided some default scripts.

For the contained 3D, there will be models distribute. And there will be a demo of a complete game made with the editor. This demo is created when you create a project to help understand how this is made.

The editor is still in development and open-source, it can be tested, but the demo is not yet realized. The current demo is pretty empty yet.
