Game Pencil Engine

The Game Pencil Engine is a new cross-platform game development tool which started as an engine mainly for creating Wii U and HTML5 games, but is expanding to support as many platforms as possible. The license for the current Build, but future versions will be Creative Commons Attribution CC BY - Attribution Required. The current build is a tech demo of the engine and does not supporting saving, loading or exporting. A new version on May 7, 2015 will support this however.

There has been tons of questions about the Game Pencil Engine. So I took one logical step and created and Ask Me Anything post.

I do expect most questions to be "why switch from XTZ Engine to Game Pencil"; however I feel there may be more questions which I have not thought of.


So if you have any questions now will be the time.


Version 1.0.2 is coming soon and this will be important to have preparing for the updates in store.
