It is a versatile 2D engine that can handle a lot of simulate hundreds changes every second, allowing it to simulate historical scenarios. Games like Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron and Victoria have been made with this engine. Paradox Interactive has made this engine free to aspiring developers. Through this arrangement, games like For the Glory, Arsenal of Democracy and Iron Cross have been made.
